Carolyn Casselman Dukes LADSON - Carolyn Casselman Dukes, 69, of Ladson, widow of Rev. M. Carey Dukes, Sr., passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Hospice Center of Charleston. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Monday evening, July 25, 2016, from 6 to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Mrs. Dukes was born on February 22, 1947 in Andrews, SC, daughter of the late Marion Ray Casselman and Vermel McCutchen Bruce. Flowers will be accepted. Survivors include one son: Carey "Bubba" Dukes (Jane) of Marietta, GA; and two daughters: Karen Mathews of Ladson and Donna D. Miller (Jay) of Ravenel; nine grandchildren: Garrett, Daniel, Jonathan & Sophie Dukes of Marietta, GA, Christopher & Alex Mathews of Ladson, Kayla Long (Joshua) of Goose Creek & Jessica & Makenzie Miller of Ravenel; two great-grandchildren: Finn Alexander Long and Benjamin Enoch Mathews; and three sisters: Janice Flynn, Marian White and Melissa Woodruff.
