We were so sad to hear this. Tookie will be missed by our family. She was such a special lady and so full of grace and charm. I am so glad we had the opportunity to meet her a year ago. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I met Caroline at The Palms when my sister in law (Lucile Crum) was there. After Lucile died, we went back to The Palms to have brunch with her cousin Louise Cave. That was about a month ago.
Caroline joined us for brunch. She was such a beautiful woman, lovely, gracious and funny!
We had no idea she was so ill and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family.

Sweet Caroline, what a dear friend. She will always be in our heart! We certainly will miss her witty sense of humor but know that she is so happy with her sweetie Rupert in Heaven. Much love to the family!!!

Earth has lost and Heaven has gained one sweet soul. Webster defines "grace" as beauty of form, movement, expression; and "gracious" as having kindness, charm, courtesy, compassion. This was Tookie. She was a dear neighbor to our mother Garland Jones and a dear friend. Her gentle spirit, humor, and warm welcoming ways will be greatly missed.

Our condolences to all of Tookie's family. I had the pleasure of being in her company several times and quickly saw she had a zest for life. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.

Caroline was always a bright spot in the 8 a.m. service at Holy Cross. She always had a smile for everyone no matter how uncomfortable she was. Now she is at rest but will be remembered by many.

What a treat it was for us to meet Tookie through the Mozingo family. Her zest for life shown through in everything she did. Our lives were certainly enriched by her and we'll miss her very much.

So sorry to hear....she was a wonderful friend and bridge partner to my mom....Thais Smith. Though they only met a few years ago, Tookie was as dear to her as if they'd know each other forever.....God rest her soul.
