Such a loss of a really great person. We have lived next to Carey and Carole since they moved here. Could not be a nicer person. Always enjoyed talking with her and the extremely funny wit she had. Our thoughts are with the family knowing she is in a better place than the past years have been.

Dear Carey and family,
Carole is admired and loved for many reasons. Among them: her practical, no-nonense, courageous approach to living; the way she'd toast, "Cheers"; the quiet way she volunteered and helped others; her sense of humor; the love and respect she shared with each of you. Renewing her wedding vows in 2020 made Carole happy; she said, "all four of my offspring [were] in the same place at the same time."
May you each feel wrapped in love's tenderness at this sad time and during the days ahead. May hope endure. May memories of Carole be eternal. . . .

Carole was a wonderful, caring, talented lady. She gave of herself to those of us in the writing group. I feel honored and blessed to have known her. May she enjoy the rewards of Heaven. Until we meet again.....

Carole is the reason I joined the Summerville Writer's Guild. We first met at a small writing group at the George H. Seago library and that is where she invited me to attend a Guild Meeting. Carole inspired and encouraged me to write more.
You are missed Carole and until we meet again in Heaven please know you will be thought of everyday.

Mrs. Carole you were truly a very special lady. I always enjoyed talking with you. I guess now you're ready to run that marathon. God bless.
