Carol was born on October 2, 1938 in Patchogue, NY. She, her husband, and family traveled throughout the US and adopted South Carolina as their home over 45 years ago. She was an active, involved member of Church of the Cross and the PEO in Bluffton and loved playing Bridge with her Sun City friends. Carol will be deeply missed by her beloved husband and dearest friend of 57 years, Ralph Richard Wetherell; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Robert Bellacicco; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Terri Wetherell; a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Lauri Wetherell; and 6 grandchildren - Tayler, Joshua, Alex, Sarah, Richard, and Harrison. She was a dear friend to many and a wonderful sister to Terry, Liz, Artie, Pam, Gail, and Paul, and faithful friend, Bella. A Memorial Service to celebrate Carol's life will be held Thursday, September 18th, at 2:00 at Church of the Cross in Bluffton, SC with a reception following. So sorry to hear of the loss of such a loving, positive person. We were friends and bridge partners for some 6 years. She always treated everyone with a smile and kind word. May she rest in the love of Jesus and her family's memories of Carol bring them comfort and peace.

We lived on the next street from Carol and Dick when they lived in Kings Grant Summerville, SC. When we moved here we remet them through the Gundrums, their good friends, whose home we purchased. Carol was a lovely, positive Chistian who had a kind word and a smile for everyone. She is smiling at us from Heaven. God bless Dick and her family.

We met Carol and Dick when we moved back to Summerville in 1980 while looking for a house. She found us a home a few blocks away and we became friends until they left for Sun City. Carol was always so upbeat and friendly. Carol will be missed by all who knew her.

Carol was a dear friend with whom my wife and I shared many wonderful times together. She was a bundle of joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and working with her at God's Goods Thrift Store. From weekly walks on the beach with our dogs, to trips to Germany, Orlando, Florida and Walderboro. ME. We have wonderful and lasting memories. She is now with God.
Rest in peace,

We remember Carol as one of the original salespersons with Del Webb here in Sun City Hilton Head and then as a nearby neighbor for almost 20 years. We shared many luncheons with the Ft. Walker Lunch Bunch! Carol will be sorely missed!

We moved here 18 years ago when we met Carol and Dick. We always waved as they biked up the block. Carol was a very sweet person.
