Carol Ann Swicegood SUMMERVILLE - Carol Ann Swicegood, 69, of Summerville, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at Hallmark Healthcare Center, Summerville. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 2 o'clock at Summerville Cemetery. Please omit flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home, PO Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250. Carol was born June 25, 1942, in Summerville, daughter of the late George and Lillian McDougal Swicegood. She attended Summerville Schools. She enjoyed collecting dolls and stuffed animals, doing crossword puzzles and watching her favorite TV programs. She is survived by her twin sister: Judy Mabry of Pacolet, SC, nieces: Vicki Owens Sutphin (Neil) of Summerville and Ellen Owens Thorpe (Eric) of Mount Pleasant, great nieces and nephews: Lauren Sutphin of Greer, Benjamin Sutphin of Summerville and Brian Sutphin of Clemson, Regan and Harrison Thorpe both of Mount Pleasant. She was predeceased by her parents, one brother: George "Bubba" Swicegood, Jr. and her beloved aunt Camille McDougal.
