I had to think if I should put "friend" or "family" because you all have always been family to me, and to my sister and brother, and our parents. Every trip we took to Florida in our car to see our grandparents involved a stop of a few days or more to you... and we couldn't wait to get to you. Carol was the epitome of warmth and laughter and friendship... and she never seemed to get any older throughout the years. I always thought I'd see her again... looked forward to that day when I would road trip down and hear her laughter and visit her and Randy at their home where they lived always, and always welcomed friends and family and always kids. Where we felt like we had a home away from home. My heart aches for you all... Carol was a dear friend to so many. NOT least of all our parents. Mom used to always say when Dad was home on leave from the navy how Carol would come pick up Robin so they could have couple time alone. That when Robin was crying and no one could console her as a baby, Carol could. I love you all. So very sad for the loss of your mom, partner, friend, mother in law, grandma, aunt, friend. Most of all, dear beloved warm wonderful kind thoughtful friend. So very grateful for the gift of her in our lives, and through her, the gift of each one of you. All my love, Marcy (Bryant) Vierzen
