Carol Ann Knupp Charleston - Carol Ann Knupp, 70, Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 13, 2017. Her Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 17, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7. Carol was born February 6, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Clarence Rasmussen. She was a member of Wando Baptist Church, and worked as a Cosmetologist and barber for 42 years, retiring from Custom Family Barber Shop in Summerville, S.C. She attended Chicora High in North Charleston. Carol Ann was a true example to her family as she completely devoted herself to them. Her pride and joy was her son, Hal, who she ensured he understood the importance of hard work and to love his family. Carol Ann's beautiful smile, warm hearted nature, and limitless devotion to friends and family will be deeply missed. She is survived by her mother, Lois Jordan; her son, Harold Knupp, Jr. (Annalisa); three sisters, Susan Marie Jordan of North Charleston, S.C., Barbara Elaine Jordan of North Charleston, S.C., Terry Christine Wood of Charleston, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
