Carol Cannon Obituary

Carol Savage Cannon CHARLESTON - Carol Savage Cannon, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Kenneth Earl Cannon, entered into eternal rest December 6, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 p.m.. Burial for family to immediately follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel. Carol was born October 3, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Richard Malachi Savage and Beaulah Garvin Savage. Carol was the youngest of all her siblings; listed in order of first born: R. Legare Savage, Juanita Crain, R. "Bobby" Savage, Betty Gravette, Richard M. Savage, Clyde Savage. Carol was the most loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend who was very involved in the lives of her family. She and her husband, Kenneth, were married for 55 years. Carol was a talented piano player who also used her gifted voice to sing in the choir at Ashley River Baptist Church. Her family's fondest memory is Carol always playing the piano and filling their home with her beautiful voice. She loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart. Carol is survived by her husband, Kenneth Cannon, Sr; two sons, Kenneth Earl Cannon, Jr., Brian Cannon, and his wife, Jennie; daughter, Nichole Williams, and her husband, Doug; brother, Bobby Savage; nine grandchildren, Ashley Corbin, Wayne Dent, Angel Cannon, Kenneth E Cannon III, Katie Cannon, Davis Cannon, Oliver Cannon, Brody Williams, Vera Williams. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407.
