Carol Porter Bishop Ravenel, SC - Carol Porter Bishop, 61, of Ravenel, South Carolina, wife of Jacob A. Bishop, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 16, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Carol was born March 23, 1956 in North Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Thomas Porter and Joyce Cash Porter. She was an Import Business Customs Clearing Agent. She is survived by her husband, Jacob "Jake" A. Bishop of Ravenel, SC; stepson, John Jacob Bishop of Charleston, SC; two stepdaughters, Cynthia Lee Anderson, and Marla Gordon, both of Los Angeles, CA; three brothers, Michael Porter, Allen Porter, Marion Porter and sister, Julie Mulligan, all of Charleston, SC; many grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association, Coastal Branch, 44-A Markfield Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
