Carmen Bentz Obituary

"Shing" Bentz will always hold a dear place in my heart as one of the kindest, most hospitable people I have ever met. She always had kind words for everyone and was a true people person. When my brother passed away 16 years ago, she helped to provide solice and comfort to me and my parents during our time of grieving. I never will forget what she did for me and my family.

Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and she will surely be missed by her family, especially Terri and Earl. God Bless the family and I hope the Bentz family finds peace, comfort and love. I sure do miss Shing.

So very sorry t hear of your mom´s passing. My Mom was th same age when she passed 3 yrs ago. Just let her memories fill your heart with blessings and not sadness. Hard to do, but my live n prayers are with you now.

Dear Earl and Terri,
I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Shing was family, a Jenkins cousin, and a sweet person. So many years have past since the days on Bentz Road and the Wadmalaw little league practices. Many of the kids on the team are gone, and now a team mother is too. My deepest sympathy to you and your families.

Shing, as we knew her, was a Friend of my Mom and Dad´s. I remember her as kind, caring, and full of fun

Shing was one of my first cousins. She had such a gentle, kind personality and always loved being around her.

Earl, Terri, and Family, I am so deeply sorry to hear of Shing´s passing. What a dear sweet lady and such a dedicated nurse. Have y´all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending love and that your faith will guide your way. God Bless.

Carmen and I worked together for many years as school nurses. I learned so much from her and loved her. May she rest in God´s peace.

We sure loved Mrs. Bentz as she was our school Nurse at St. Johns for many years. I'm a personal friend of Terri's and I spent time with them back in the 60's, as we grew up on the Island. Peace to the family.
