Carlos Nesbit Obituary

Carlos Elijah...A true friend that I always admired. He was full of ambition and set seemingly impossible goals, but was never afraid of failure. He pushed for the best out of me and always expected me to do more; "...come on, don't settle for that..." He had a vision for himself and always wanted more. A rare breed that I will always admire: A great joker and prankster; one of a kind. I love and admire you my brother. Still in disbelief and shock, but thankful for the time that I was allowed to spend with you: School, library weekends, Army, hanging out...every moment was CLASSIC!

I am so saddened by the passing of your husband. You are in my thoughts and prayers Revella.

To Revella, Thandi and the Nesbit Family. Please know that our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. But,also know that through Christ Jesus all things are possible. So, it is our sincere prayer that the Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.

The friendship bond was so close that ironically we share the same wedding anniversary date and year. Carlos never met a stranger and he will be missed but always be in our HEARTS.

Carlos...what a guy. He was a go-getter & destined to succeed. Through high school together, college together & then meeting up again in the U.S Army, he always had his sights set up & forward. When he sent me a family picture while I was overseas,all I could do was smile because he was the constant success & this time, in being a husband & father.
