Dear Louise & Family,
I was so sorry to read about Carlo upon returning to Westfield from a vacation in Florida last week. I certainly would have been at his wake to express my sympathy in person. I enjoyed working with Carlo at Westfield District Court in the late 70s and early 80s. He was a very professional, firm, caring, and fair boss who loved and spoke often about his wife and children. It was nice working for someone with such Christian values. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

I was so sorry to learn of Carlo's passing in church this morning. Louise and he were good friends to my Mom and Dad. I remember from a young age hearing my Dad say good things about Carlo.
Like several of you, as a high school student, Mrs. Benway required us to attend a Town Meeting. Your Dad was Town Moderator at the time and I was really awed by the process and how he presided firmly but with a lot of common sense. I guess it must have planted a seed because many years later I followed in his footsteps as Town Moderator. His style has always been my role model. After a number of years in office, one of the old-timers at church let on one time that I was "the best Moderator since Carlo Tagliavini." I'll take my second place finish any day of the week to that standard of work!
It's sad as we lose this "Greatest Generation" that made our country and community so wonderful. My best to all of you as you mourn this wonderful and productive American's passing.

We sorrow not as other men sorrow for we know that one day we will be re-united with Carlo and all God's saints. His testimony and steadfast
faith in the Lord was an encouragement to all who knew him.

My heart and prayers go out to the entire Tagliavini Family.

I have many fond memories of Carlo along with many fun times. He was always a strong supporter of the Southwick High Soccer Team, his voice could be heard for miles.

In this time of grief may your memories comfort your sorrows. We all have lost a truly great person!

We were stunned and saddened to learn of Tag's passing. His vibrant personality and enthusiasm for life were a genuine inspiration to both of us throughout our association, back in Massachusetts some years ago. The world has lost a truly great man.

Dear Mrs. Tagliavini and family,
I was saddened to hear of Mr. Tagliavini's passing. I called the hospital to arrange for him to come to Rehab and learned. I am so sorry that I have not seen you but tried to visit and you were not home. As a family member/caregiver of a dialysis patient, I know the dedication and hardwork of caring for a loved one. Take comfort in knowing that you were so instrumental in his well being as he needed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Kay Drummond
