Carlene Smith Obituary

Carlene McCutchen Smith Moncks Corner - Carlene McCutchen Smith, 76, of Moncks Corner, a homemaker, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016. Carlene was born September 21, 1939, in Kingstree, a daughter of Lester Amar McCutchen and Evelyn McClary McCutchen. Surviving are, two sons- Ray Mixson and his wife, Betty, of Moncks Corner; Rodney Neil Smith of Moncks Corner- two sisters- Marilyn Barnes of Myrtle Beach; Janet Creel of St. Stephen; two grandchildren- Persaeus Springs and Max Springs; two sisters-in-law- Doris McCutchen and Ann McCutchen; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers- Horace McCutchen and Terry McCutchen. Her funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Wednesday afternoon, February 17, 2016, at 2 o'clock. Interment will follow in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening, February 16, 2016 from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock.
