Carl Pigott Obituary

Carl Pigott N. Charleston - Carl E. Pigott, Jr. entered into eternal rest February 11, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1964 in Sasebo, Japan to Teruko and Carl Pigott. Surviving is a son, Jason Pigott, in Pasadena, CA, his siblings, Susan Ahrens (Mark) N. Charleston, John Pigott (Rita) Summerville, Betty Pigott, Mt. Pleasant, Aunt Lola Pigott, Charleston; Aunt Betty and Uncle John E. Pigott, Savannah, GA, along with many nieces and nephews in Charleston and Newport News, VA. Carl served in the US Navy 10 years, later working at DeLeon Amusement for 18 years and finally at the VA Hospital for his last two years. A kind and sensitive soul, called a "gentle giant" by his friends, Carl was a fan of NASCAR races and college basketball. He had great affection for fishing throughout his life in the Lowcountry, particularly with his grandfather and father in his younger life. A graveside funeral with family members and close friends will be held at Memorial Gardens at 7113 Rivers Ave. N. Charleston on February 27, 2021 at 2pm.
