I miss you so much

I counted it an honor to do Casper's"homegoing". I still remember walking the halls of MUSC with Carl(Clyde),mom,and dad the night Casper came into this world. In this the toughest times imagineable always remember to hold on to Jesus, draw near to God and He will draw near unto you. We love you and shall keep you in our prayers.

The news of Casper hit our entire family like a ton of bricks. It saddens us deeply. He spent a lot of time with our three boys and us. He was so much fun to be around—a very respectful child. We loved him dearly. God bless Tim, Rose, Sarah, and Jason who were such a big part of Casper’s and our lives when we were down there. We will miss him.

Casper, I really didn't get to say goodbye and I didn't get to hear about what happened until after the funeral. I really wish I could of seen you just ane last time. By blood we were called cousins, but by word and deed, you were my brother and closest friend. There is no way to say how much you meant to me or how much I will miss you. No one ever understood me like you do, and no one could ever pop me one when I did wrong quite the way you could. I love and miss you so much.

I remember holding Casper as a baby,and watching him grow to a young man. He will be missed by my family(Alice,Ned,Anne,& Margaret Vendrick.)He was doing so well,but God has the plan. I wish I could have seen him one more time, but I know on day I will. Johnny Bischoff will miss him to. I am sure Grandma was there waiting for him to. He was so loved by our family because you all were part of our family. Clyde,Rose and Sara yall are in my heart and prayers. All I can say is look to the Lord in your time of grief. I am truly going to miss one of the greatest people God has ever made. Casper's heart was made about as big as mine, that is why we connected. Casper was my cousin and my friend and his memory will live on longer than anyone can ever imagine. I ask that you live every day as though it was your last and never forget to tell the people you love, that you love them.

Hal and I were sad to hear of your loss of your beloved son Carl. We know how hard it is to say goodbye to a family member. We sincerely hope that as time helps to ease your pain, you can take comfort that you gave Carl a wonderful life in his short time with us.

Casper, you had such an easy going personality and a great heart which is why you will very much be missed. I want to thank you for being such a wonderful friend over the years and I love you much for that. I send my prayers to all family and friends especially Capers's mother Rose.

hey casper was one of my good friends umm he always stoped to play with my brother no matter what he was doing shhhhh. casper please rest in peace we will all miss you like my mom says casper was put on earth to do what god wanted him to do and thats what he did so now god took him cause he ocomplished what he was made to do no matter what just remember the funny times you had with him thanks casper for being a good friend

You will be missed by our family so much. I wanted to say something at your memorial service tomorrow, but I don't think I will be able to without breaking down, so I will tell you here that my family and I will always love you!! I will miss you so much! I don't think it is fair that you left us when I was just getting to know my cousin again. With both of us growing up in the past few years, I didn't get a chance to really get to know you! I wish there had been more time. I hope you are getting to meet Pops now that you are up there with him. I pray everynight that he will take care of you. Look in on us and your son every so often to make sure we are doing good. We will miss you so much!

Casper, you were a great person and you will be greatly missed by everyone whose hearts you have touched. I wish I had one last chance to see you and tell you how much you mean to me. I will always remember the good times we had growing up, and I know you will never forget all of us hanging out in the terrace everyday. I worked with your Mom for a while, and you were all she talked about. She loved you more than anything in the world. I know that you will always be watching down on us from heaven and your spirit will live on through your son. We love you Casper!!

Rose, my entry is more for you, as I was not well acquainted with Casper, although I have met him on more than one occasion. You have my deepest and sincerest sympathies. My love and prayers are with you, Sarah, and the remainder of the family, as well as the friends who held Casper so dear to their hearts. In memory of Casper "The Friendliest Host In the World". Everybody knew him and everybody loved him there's no other way to say it. If Casper taught me anything during the time I knew him it would be to "just say it like you mean it". My heart goes out to Clyde and the other family members left behind, but if you think about it none of us were truely left behind, he will forever remain in our hearts.
