This is still quite unreal. It has been a long time since I saw you in person, but I will always remember the smile and that amazing laugh. I wish you peace. I send prayers to your family and friends. Carl, you were a great guy. I am lucky to have known you!

My heart breaks for you. So sorry for your grief. Praise God that we do not mourn as those with no hope...we have hope in God's word that He would NEVER LEAVE US! NOR FORSAKE US! I thank God that we have the blessed assurance that Carl is in Heaven with Jesus!!! And his grandma Dorothy! ♡

High school may have been a long time ago, but everyone I have spoken with from the class of 1998 has been quite saddened by Carl's passing. He is remembered with a smile on his face by everyone, and for being a genuinely nice person. I pray for his family at this time and know that many of his classmates are doing the same.

I worked with Carl many times. He was talented, hard working and always a friend. My deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved him.

Words seem so feeble, in moments like these. Life is so precious and death such a thief. The depth of your pain I cannot comprehend, but I'll stand alongside you in the darkness, my friend. My memory of Carl was of him sitting in the floor playing with my oldest son. Carl couldn't have been more the 6 or 7. Each time he laughed his eyes would just light up. I was best friends with Carl's sister, Charlotte, when we were young. He was always such a sweet and caring person. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Carl at Live 5 News several years ago and saw him just a week and a half ago. He always had a smile on his face. Prayers going out to his family.
