To Mr. Kistner's family,
I had the pleasure of meeting him when I meet his daughters Betty (with Junior) and Janet. Watching him around his family and in his shop was a learning time. He was kind enough to allow me to participate in the "Great Train Hold-Up" in Branchville during the Railroad Days celebration. That was my first time shooting a black power pistol.
Thank you Mr. Kistner and family for those life experiences.

I knew W.Bro.Carl through several masonic organizations.I did a tree job over on Wild Dunes and an iron rail was broken. Needless to say the owner was upset that this happen.
I took the seven pieces to Carl gave him the address and in a few days I went back to pay the owner for the rail and it was fixed. I couldn't even see the weld seems.
I went straight to his shop and tried to pay him and he wouldn't even take gas money.
He was, is and always will be a PRINCE amoung men.
I have been BLESSED to have called him BROTHER.

We know Carl through our Sunday School class. When we think of him we see him pulling two table tops and six trash cans from his truck for our annual oyster roast in 2015. Carl, you were missed at this year's roast. We know you were no doubt looking down on us, and we were sending prayers your way. We will stay in touch good friend.

I will always remember working and learning from Carl from 1970 to 1974 during summers while I was going to college. There was nothing that Carl couldn't fix or figure out. I learned a wealth of skills from Carl. He was a great boss - his philosophy was: You will make mistakes while working - just learn from the mistake and not repeat it.
