I tried not to concentrate on the anniversary of your death on yesterday, but it is still heavy on my heart and in my mind so therefore I must acknowledge you and what I am feeling. I take great pleasure in knowing that your body is no longer suffering and you were made whole before God called you home for nothing imperfect can enter THE KINGDON OF HEAVEN. When you passed away something inside of me died and it took a long time for something new to grow to replace that lost, but it's growing. Your death made me grown up and out. I talk out loud and say Dude I really need to talk to you because I can't pick up the phone or come by and pour my heart out to you bestie, only in spirit and in prayers. I think about you all of the time but find comfort in knowing that your job on earth was done and now you are truly about your Father's business. I know that you are the Greatest Gate Keeper God created.

I love you Dad but if I had just one more chance........

I am going to really miss you Guy. God knows best and to be absent from the body is to be present in the Lord. I will never forget all of the God times we had at Sunday dinner and all of the laughs you produced just by saying the things that people were to afraid or courteous to say. I would also like to thank you for keeping your promise. You promisd me that you would be my father figure after Daddy passed and that you would give me to my husband on our wedding day. On Septemeber 18th, 2010, you did just that. Our hearts are full knowing that you won't be there physically on September 10th, 2011 at our Marriage Celebration, but I do know that you, Granny, Jr., and Daddy will be in attendance in spirit. Randall and I will never forget the advice that you gave us. We love you darely and may you forever rest in our heavenly Father's arms.

To our ENTIRE FAMILY,
Carl held a special place in all of our hearts, and we all know that GOD has his ENTIRE heart, Carl was a man that GOD's light continually showed through him, His walk in life was to give service to GOD the FATHER and he did just that even when the pain was so evident in his body, you could ask him how he felt and he would say "I'm doing fine", the only way he would miss a Sunday or any service at church was if he was in the hospital...he truly encouraged me to keep on, I have not near the pain he endured and he kept pressing on. Thanks Uncle for the example that your Christ like walk showed me, I miss you dearly. For my auntie/mom, Caroline (Liz to me) I thank GOD that I know that your FAITH will sustain you, I pray GOD'S peace, mercy and blessings for the entire family.

Love,

Mrs. Kelly and Family of Mr Carl - I am so sorry for your loss. I had made a good friend in Carl when I worked with him at the dialysis clinic. He was always "showing his best" even when he was so sick and not feeling his best...My prayers are with you all, and Mrs. Kelly, pat the dog for me - I think he helped Carl get through the day many times.
Sincerely, your friend - Matt

Dear Dad today was so hard. I usually talk you after dyalisis, but today there was no Daddy. I know that God has healed you and taken you home but the pain remains constant. I know that time will heal all wounds but Daddy you left me a little to soon. I love you Daddy. Maida.....
