Carl Foreman Obituary

Carl, I learned this morning of your passing in speaking to your wife Marie. I was calling to express my condolences over David passing. I only learned yesterday about David. It was truly a pleasure to know the both of you. May you and David continue to RIP. You both are missed.

Mr. Foreman and Madam Marie were kind and generous to me and my family in Accra, Ghana in the 80's when they were stationed there. I can not thank them enough for their kindness to my wife and son when l left them in Ghana and immigrated to Canada in 1988. I will cherish and remember their visit to Ottawa in 2016. Thanks you for your generousity. RlP.

My heart goes out to you for your deep loss you must be feeling for your beloved Carl. How sad to lose someone so loved and so needed. May you find comfort in prayer and in one another. (Jeremiah 29:12,13)

To Marie, Carl, Jr and Family Members,
I am sorry for your loss of such a gentleman. My path crossed Carl's November 2012, and we enjoyed a very pleasant and great friendship. I had the honor to work with Carl for our Alma Mater Barber-Scotia College. The best decision was made when I appointed Carl to the National Alumni Executive Committee. Carl never failed in his commitment to support Barber-Scotia. In early October 2016, he and I talked about some wonderful ideas that he felt that would be beneficial to our Alma Mater. Our friendship was far too short. I will always remember our lengthy telephone calls, always ending with such positive feelings and expecting the next call. Please know that you are surrounded with love and prayers during this very difficult time. Carl was a light that shined brightly for all of those he came in contact with. Thank you Marie and Carl, Jr. for allowing me to reap some of the glow of your husband and father's light. I will always cherish his calmness in all his endeavors. He made an indelible impression on me and hope that I can emulate his attribute of calmness.
