Carily Myers Obituary

Carily Myers BONNEAU BEACH, SC - Carily Etta Wallick Myers, 68, of Bonneau Beach, SC, passed away Sat., July 19, 2025, at home surrounded by family and friends. Carily was born Jan. 13, 1957, in Park Rapids, MN, to Bob and Darlene Wallick and was the fourth child of six. She enlisted in the Navy at age 21 and was placed in the Mobile Mine Assembly Group (MOMAG). During her twenty-year naval career Chief Myers earned many advancements, received multiple commendations and medals, and was selected as Sailor of the Year finalist in 1986. Upon retirement she settled in the Charleston area, lived for many years in Bonneau Beach, loved fishing, and had legions of friends. Her door was always open, she cooked and baked for everyone and she sincerely loved to help people. Carily was also a dog-lover and rescued many. She is survived by her mother, Darlene Wallick, Park Rapids, MN; sisters, Connie Wallert, New Port Richey, FL, Mindy Watkins, Plano, TX, Heidi Williams, Cass Lake, MN; and brother, John (Joan) Wallick, Woodstock, GA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wallick and sister, Leana Droege. Carily's family will have a graveside military ceremony in Minnesota. Friends of Berkeley County may be planning a local Celebration of Life in her honor.
