Camille Martin Obituary

Camille Jennings Martin CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 21, 2010, Camille Jennings Martin, widow of Arthur J. Martin, Jr. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the graveside in Riverview Memorial Park, Saturday, July 24, 2010, at ten o'clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interfaith Crisis Ministry, 573 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403. Mrs. Martin was born on November 14, 1924, in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late William Clarke Jennings and Violet Campbell Jennings. She was a retired Clerk with the Charleston County School System. She was a member of Harbor View Presbyterian and also attended St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Martin lived her faith and was an inspiration to many people. She was a former Civitan. Surviving are two daughters, Jeannie Martin of Charleston, Debra Martin of North Charleston, two sons, John Martin and wife Dianne of Charleston, Paul Martin and wife Christine of Charleston; brother, Bill Jennings of Charleston; four sisters, Catherine Toma of Charleston, Francis Ward of Atlanta, GA, Margaret Cameron of Hendersonville, NC, Beverly Doyle of Charleston; a granddaughter, Jessica Martin. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Bonnett and a brother, Alfred Jennings. Visit our guestbook at www.postandcourier.com/deaths

Debbie and Jeannie: I'm so sorry that your mother passed away. I knew she wasn't in good heath during the last couple of years. It's hard to lose your parents. Again, I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
