Dearest Ca'Vashia and family,

Mrs. Nicholson and I are saddened to hear of your loss. We have such fond memories of you and your dad. Although he may not be here with you on earth, he is indeed with you always, watching over you as your guardian angel. Although I haven't seen Calvin since high school, this is very sad indeed. I will continue to pray for his family.

I went to school with Calvin and he was always and quiet,sweet young man and I know that it's a very hard time for your family, but trust unto the Lord. Calvin was and always will be an angel

God gave you for a little while,
And in God we will continue to trust.

Dearest Godson, I truly will miss your smiling face and soft spoken demeaor. Your passion for love and life was bountiful so, as you lay in your final resting place please remember how much I love you and that there's a permament hole in my heart where you dwell.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

Delores, Calvin, Erica, I am terribly sorry to hear about Tye's death! I know that you all are still in shock, as I am. Seems that just yesterday my daughter and your son were in the same grade in Elementary schools miles apart and we used to compare report cards and homework loads each day at work. How cruel it seems to get them through all of the trials and tribulations of childhood just to be taken away when they are finally on their own, but only God knows why, and it is not for us to question His great plan for us all.
One thing is true, there is NO pain greater than the loss of your child. But God promises to never give you more than you can handle, though I am sure to the bone that it feels like it right now--Lean on Him and He will carry you through this time of great sorrow.
What a family reunion Tye has been attending, his Grandfather, I am sure, met him at the gates as Jesus led him through, along with all of those who've gone before.
Do not kneel at my grave and weep, for I am not there,
I do not sleep,
you are in my prayers, my thoughts, and in my heart. I will not ask if there is anything I can do for you, or if there is anything you need, b/c I cannot bring your baby back for you and I know that is all you want and need right now.

My prayers go out to the bereaved family. The only certain thing that I do know, is that God is not dead and he will not put more on us than we can bear. So be strong and know that death is a part of life. He will be missed but, God knows best and just know if it was not a part of his plan it would not have happened. I leave with you 2 Cor. 12:9 which says " God's strength is made perfect in our weakness". WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY HUMAN EXPERIENCE".
