Bruce D. MacKenzie
Bruce D. MacKenzie, 65, of Emmaus, died November 7, 2006 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Sara J. (Brensinger) MacKenzie. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary in April 2006. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Joyce R. Mackenzie of Bethlehem and the late Charles W. MacKenzie. He worked as a bench hand for the former AT&T for 21 years, retiring in 1996. He honorably served his country in the Army. He was a member of Calvary Temple, Allentown. Survivors: Mother; wife; sons, Mark D. Mackenzie of Bath and Bruce Scott MacKenzie of Emmaus; daughters, Amy J. Boring of Allentown and Beth A. Snyder of Slatington; brother, Charles MacKenzie of Northampton; sister, Margaret Mackenzie of Allentown; 11 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson. He was predeceased by a son, Luke MacKenzie. Services: memorial, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006 10:30 a.m. in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Friends may call 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bruces memory to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
