Bruce Curtis Obituary


CURTIS, Bruce GENEVA, NY-Bruce Curtis passed away January 1, 2005. He is survived by his parents Dr. David Lee and Judith Curtis, his sister Kristina, maternal grandparents Pete & Giselle Kezdi of Cleveland, Ohio; paternal grandparents Donna Lee Curtis of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He is predeceased by his grandfather Robert Anson Curtis, owner of Bob Curtis Piano Tuning. Bruce was a sophomore college student at Penn State where he had a four-year ROTC Naval Scholarship. Bruce attended Geneva High School and Principal Dave Pullen said "He was one of the most well-rounded young men who ever walked down the halls at Geneva High School." Bruce was employed by Wegman's supermarket, rated the "best place of employment in the nation" because they put the employees first, then the customer. He worked in the pizza dept. during high school and college breaks. While Bruce was visiting Grandma Curtis in Charleston about 10 years ago, he went deep sea fishing with his dad and uncle Garwyn Clark on the Carolina Clipper. He stated "It was the best day of his life."
