I will never forget Brian. I loved to see running along King Street during the marathons. I have a clock that he gave me. He was my daughter's father-in-law. He was a great man.l

Dear Mildred,
Let me express my deepest sorrow and sandness for your great loss of our dear Brian. I find myself very enriched by being part of the Smith family for so many years (you and Brian being my daughter Gracie's parents-in-law) and getting together every year for Thanksgiving at Douglas and Robin's wonderful home. Brian was always so kind to me - I will certainly miss him. It was so fortunate to have the whole family here (that came one week before and gathered on the Island of Palms to celebrate your 50th wedding anniversay)and to be your support and company. I will keep in touch with you by telephone and e-mail - and next at Thanksgiving.
With all my love - please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
