To the family: I do not know if this will still make it to you as so much time has passed since Brian's death. I found out about it last year when I was searching to find my friend. I was thinking of him this morning and in doing another search to see what I could find out, I found this site. I was stationed with Brian at Oregon Inlet and I traveled to your house one time as well to pick up a boat and take it back to Outer Banks. Brian and I were pretty much constant companions for almost two years while both on and off duty. He was the best friend that I had in the Coast Guard and I searched for him many times after I got out. It was a truly sad day when I finally found something on the internet when I saw his name and a picture show up.......I had finally found him......but a few years too late. Brian was a great friend and he and I shared many moments both no and off the water that I will remember forever. Sorry for your loss......and proud to call him my friend.

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Quinn, Jeff and Lauren,
I unfortunately never met Brian but if Jeff remembers, we were very good friends in high school. My name is Kelly Yarborough Nobbs and my parents were also friends with you many years ago. I am so sorry to hear about what happened to Brian. Our family extends our greatest sympathy to this sudden death. We have also lost a loved one to sudden death three years ago. Dad's first grandson, Brian Hill, who was Christine's son, was killed in a car accident at USC in his senior year. I want you to know that even though the loss right now is unbearable, the Lord will guide you and keep Brian and your family in his Hands and will comfort you. He comforted our family as well. Your family remains in our thoughts and prayers.

Dr. & Mrs. Quinn, Jeff, Lauren
My wife and I are very sorry for your loss of Brian and our Thoughts & Prayers are with you in these difficult times. We didn't know him very long but it was very obvious to us that he was a great person, who loved being on the water, loved his family and enjoyed every day he had in the outdoors. Unfortunately i was one of the last people to see his smiling face and will never Forget It. I'm very sorry!
