Brian Dochniak Obituary

Brian Lea Dochniak MT. PLEASANT - Brian Lea Dochniak, 62, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his former wife, Deborah's home Saturday, June 24, 2023. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A private burial service will be held later in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Brian was born September 14, 1960 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of the late Robert Dochniak and Judith Smitz Dochniak. He was a graduate of the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN, and earned his degree in computer technology. Brian was a regional manager for Autodesk, where he served as a computer engineer in the film industry. He was a member of Christ Church Anglican Mt. Pleasant and Snee Farm Country Club where he served as president of the MGA. Brian will be remembered for the way he loved his daughters, former wife and his many friends. He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Dochniak of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Meredith Dochniak of Johns Island, SC; brother, Scott Dochniak of Minneapolis, MN; and his loving former spouse and friend, Deborah Conrady Dochniak Pope (Randy) of Mt.
