Brian Connor Obituary

I was shocked to discover that Rev. Connor passed away. He was such a nice man who helped me many years ago. The last time we communicated was in 2012. He is missed.

Thanking God for Brian Connor and what he meant to our church family (Redland Baptist) and to our family. May our Lord's comfort and love surround you all.

I was very sorry to learn of Brian's passing. He was a true man of God and will be rewarded as such. Condolences to Miss Mary and his family.

It was a challenging joy to work with Brian, June, and Lisa during a season of risk, eye-opening encounters, and pursuit of the Kingdom of God. I learned a lot from Brian, about forgiveness, warfare, and authority. "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." 1 Corinthians 13.12

A friend, a mentor, a front line warrior in the battle against principalities and powers, an exemplary father, a rare gem of manhood and wisdom, a quick wit with a mischievous smile, knowing everything you would ever want to know about the civil war, a true gentleman and scholar. Our Brian, now completely the Lord's. Prayers for all suffering his loss, especially Amy & Carey who carry on his legacy of spiritual warmth and grace. Til we meet again in our eternal home. Peace, Brother.

It's a sad time for his family and us who knew him, but a day of celebrating in heaven the homecoming of one of God's favorite sons.

Wish we'd known him better in this life. He touched a lot of lives as a channel of God's love. Brian is now one more treasure available to us when we make our own journey into the eternal presence of God.

I fondly remember Brian and his determination to support the maligned and hurting. I think of him often, My prayers are with all of you.

Blessings to the Connor family during this time. Brian was so special, and my family has many memories from marriages to a funeral. Rest in Peace, Brian.

I want to express my deep and sincere condolences to each of you, especially Faye, Amy and Carey whom Roby and I knew personally at Redland. His personal and professional relationship with our family during that time had a profound effect on our lives that continues to today. Roby went to be with the Lord in June, and I like to think that he and Brian are having a happy reunion now. First met Brian when, as a student @Baptist College I attended his church...Park Circle Baptist in North Charleston... Brian married me and my husband in 1977 @ Corinth Baptist in Vance, SC....He has been our friend ever since. Our prayer for all the friends and family is that you find refuge in God: In His arms strength to hold you, grace to sustain you, and love to carry you through. We are so sorry for your loss but know there is a glorious reunion in heaven that awaits all of us who are Christians. Love to all.

I would like to offer my condolences to Brian's family in the unexpected passing of my first cousin. His help through my difficult times will never be forgotten. My brother, John, and I grieve here in Texas for your loss and will always remember Brian's friendship and influence in our lives. God Bless and R.I.P.
