Brandon Jamison Obituary

To the Jamison Family: I will keep you all in my sincere prayers. I only had the opportunity to meet and talk with Brandon once, but my goodness, that day was filled with laughter. I'm sure he brought joy and happiness to any and every one he was around.

To the Jamison Family:
I was truly saddened by the lost of such a talented young man. When Brandon was a student at Burke High School, I looked forward to him coming in the Community Education office because I knew he would tell me a funny story that would leave me in tears from laughing so hard. Knowing Brandon he is not only singing in the heavenly choir but directing it.

To the Jamison Family,
My heartfelt sympathy is extended to you. Brandon was like a little brother to me and was admired deeply for his love for music. We met when the CSO Gospel Choir was formed and bonded. I must say he was always full of joy and fun to be around. He will truly be missed by all. The Charleston Area Alumni Chapter of Benedict College salute him for the magnificent job done in playing for our first "Christians Around The Clock" program held in June. We can honestly say, the work he's done has spoken for him!

YOU WILL BE TRULY MISSED...WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE NOW, BUT YOUR LEGACY WILL LIVE ON..YOU WERE AN INSPIRATION TO ME AND MANY OTHER CURRENT BUKRE BAND MEMBERS WE WILL MISS YOU BRANDON..TO THE FAMILY STAY STRONG AND BELIEVE THAT GOD IS WITH YOU...

It seems like yesterday Vonna, U and I were chilling on Ur porch on poplar street but now is left is Ur memories of us growing up together

I didn't have the opportunity to know him personally but I was blessed to experience his God given ministry at a concert at St. Matthew Baptist Church. He had the annointing of the most high and I count it a great blessing to have been a wittness. Look unto Jesus for the peace that only he can give and know that Brandon is resting safe in his arms.

Praise God for the great things that He does. We sometimes don't understand when things are done and when love ones are suddenly gone, But there is a friend that we can call on name Jesus that would bring peace and restoration to us at a time like this and will comfort us at our time of need. I praise God for knowing this family and for the empowered ministry that has been instilled in my daughter's life through Brandon, May the family find much peace among one another and Christ through this time of loss.

I met him when i was only a freshman at Capers Prep.He was the music teacher who always encouraged me to sing not only because i had the talent and potential to but because it was God's special gift just for me. You have lost a great family member, friend, and musician. I can remember visiting with my aunt and uncle at Eastside and seeing Brandon as a little boy on the piano. I would think to myself, gosh he's so young and talented! Another thing I noticed was the closeness Brandon and his mother had. They were inseparable and they both shared a special love for each other and music.
I was worried about Brandon when his mom passed last year, but now he's with her and the Lord. And I'm sure that Brandon and Ms. Tish is singing and playing in the heavenly choir.

Family know that you have my most deepest sympathy and I grieve with you in your loss. But know that our wonderful God is TOO WISE to make any mistakes. He knows just how much we can bare. So continue to Trust God, so that we too can see him on that day.

I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew of Brandon because of his work with the Charleston Charter School for Math and Science students, but when I saw how well our chorus and band performed, in the very first year, I knew we had a gifted teacher, and he will be greatly missed.
