Bradley Randall Webb GOAT ISLAND, SC - "Capt. Randy", of Goat Island, SC. passed at sunset on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was 69 years old. He was surrounded by his loving family and was at peace with the world.Randy was born on March 16, 1952 to Robert Harold Webb and Barbra Carpenter Webb in Danbury, Connecticut. He is survived and loved fiercely by his daughter, Lauriel Sawin, son, Corey Webb, son-in-law, Skip Sawin, grandson, Lucas Sawin and Logan Webb Sawin, brother and sister-in-law, Cameron and JoAnn Webb and their children, sister, Wendy Webb and her son, ex-wife, Eileen Shields, mother of Lauriel, ex-wife, Patty Webb mother of Corey, and numerous cousins, family, friends, and fishing buddies. Capt. Randy's life knew no bounds. He was carpenter, a boat captain, a surfer, and a lover of true friends. Whether it was scalloping on the beaches of Madeket or sailing in the Bahamas, Capt. Randy was always up for an adventure. His travels took him to Nantucket, Vermont, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Europe and Charleston to name a few. In his early times in the Lowcountry, you could find him on the back deck of the Windjammer or teaching many of the kids on Isle of Palms how to surf. He loved the ocean and spent as much time as he could on the water. His fierce love of Goat Island, SC and their people will always be remembered. His tractor rides down Buccaneer Rd, his beloved back beach and time spent fishing with him off the back dock will never be forgotten. Capt. Randy's legacy will live on through his family and friends. We will miss his loud, barrel chested, deep belly laughter. We will admire is outright stubbornness. We will cherish his bearded chin and the twinkle in his eye.We love you Poppy. There will be a celebration of life honoring Capt. Randy on Friday, November 26, 2021 in Seven Reaches Creek, behind Goat Island, 1-3 pm, VHF channel #69. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Capt. Randy Memorial Fund.
