Bradley McCue Obituary

Bradley Rabon McCue ISLE OF PALMS - Bradley Rabon McCue, 61, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, husband of Janeen Truesdale, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 6, 2023. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel Saturday from 1:00 pm until time of the service. Bradley was born September 7, 1961 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Ott McCue and Hedy Rabon Keller. With his charismatic personality and high energy, he was a staple of the Isle of Palms community and well-known to many islanders. Most days, he could be found enjoying the beauty of the Lowcountry; whether boating, surfing, or fishing, he had an unrivaled love for Isle of Palms, its history, and its residents. Bradley loved his friends and neighbors and was an amazing host, making sure that everyone was well cared for while under his care. For over 20 years, he proudly served his clients with Palmetto Exterminators. It's difficult to express the love and kinship he felt for everyone he worked for and with. More than mere clients, they were his friends and Bradley loved them. The pride Bradley had for his community could be felt in the ways he cared for his fellow residents. It could be seen in the way he cared for his surroundings. A true Southern gentleman, his neighborly spirit, friendly smile, and vibrant personality will live on in our hearts for years to come. He is survived by his wife, Janeen; his mother, Hedy; his brother, Bill McCue (Berta) of Charleston, SC; two nieces, Elizabeth McCue Shealy (Chip), and Roberta McCue Copenhaver (Drew) of Charleston, SC; four great-nephews, Jackson Shealy, Whit Shealy, Smoak Copenhaver, and Locke Copenhaver; and his beloved dog, Simon Peter. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Small But Mighty Rescue, 583 Smith Chapel Road, Campobello, SC, 29322. www.smallbutmightyrescue.com. I was so shocked to hear of Bradley`s passing today. I can´t believe I didn´t hear this before now. I thought it was very strange that he didn´t return my text back in July regarding a strange bug I was seeing around my house, but thought he must be on vacation or something. Bradley was always so punctual and diligent, kind, caring, and friendly. He always went out of his way to make sure things were taken care of properly. He will be greatly missed here on the island. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
With Deepest sympathy, Lynette Korte

So sad to recently hear of Bradley's passing. I knew Bradley when I lived in Northbridge Terrace and we swam on the same swimming team together. He was quite the character! Prayers and blessings go out to his entire family during this difficult time.

We have owned a vacation home next door to Bradley for over 20 years. We knew we could count on him to keep an eye out on the house for us and always appreciated his eagerness to help. He was a fun, energetic guy with a good heart and great smile. We will miss him dearly. Loving thoughts and prayers with the family during this difficult time.

Bradley was a wonderful co-worker and was loved and respected by all his customers and co-workers! I was always sure that when I sent Bradley to a new customer´s house that they would be impressed! He was a true good guy! I am glad that he won our last Auburn vs Clemson bet! May the good Lord hold him close and may those he left behind learn from his example.

Bradley was at my house last Tuesday. He was suppose to come back Thursday to check something. As he was leaving, he said " I´ll see you Thursday ". It wasn´t to be. I was so shocked to hear this sad news. He talked about his mom and wife often. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be missed!

My husband and I were so saddened to hear about Bradley´s passing. We first met Bradley when we lived across the street on IOP. We instantly bonded over our mutual love of the Tigers. Bradley also provided pest control services for us and it was always a treat to chat with and catch up on all his family, adventures and successful investments. Bradley was a special friend and will be dearly missed.

My favorite memory of Bradley, was the morning of his wedding. As the sun rose and he said his vows to Janeen, with big tears in his eyes, it was just so beautiful to see his deep heartfelt love for her. Grateful I got to share that day with them.

I so looked forward every three months to seeing Bradley. He was my dear friend as well as exterminator. He took time to talk to me and ask if he could do anything other than stay. We always talked about Clemson. He loved his Tigers but most of al he loved his wife and Mother . I am sure he has been welcomed with ; "Well done my good and faithful servant." You know I loved you Bradley

Bradley will be so missed. He always talked about visiting his mother every morning and how happy he was in his marriage. He loved both of them dearly and was very proud of them. Truly a Southern gentleman and friend to everyone who had the pleasure to know him. Rest in Peace.
