Boyd Broad Obituary

We had great respect for the pastor who was always kind and thoughtful to our family. He will be missed.

Rest in Peace, Pastor Broad. We were neighbors for so long. Prayers and Blessings for the Broad family at this difficult time. I know there is a wonderful celebration in Heaven! Amen !

Heavens doors are wide open for this man of God.

Our family loved Pastor Broad. Me & my Mom lived in his little white house by Wando Woods Baptist Church. He was a kind & giving person. He worked on my car, gave us vegetables. My mom loved him & talked his ears off. Bless her heart she's probably already talking to him in Heaven. I can't say enough about him. He had the biggest heart of anyone I new. May God Bless your family that you are leaving here. You are so loved.

He is truly loved by my entire family. All three of my kids were baptized by him. Even after he retired I would tell him he would always be my pastor. His gentleness and kindness will be remembered every time I think of him. Heaven keeps getting sweeter and sweeter.

What a terrific man of God, Pastor Broad was. We have many dear memories of him. One in particular was, when ask what he was doing singing in the choir, his response? "Window Dressing!" Doesn't that sound just like him? He had a wonderful sense of humor. Pastor Broad was much more than just "Window Dressing" to scores of folks. Van, June and family, Judy and I send our deepest heart felt condolences and love to you.

Pastor Broad was a gentle giant in the Word of God. He was a blessing to my family. He married us 38 years ago and influenced our lives in so many ways. Our hearts are heavy for the family, but I rejoice for his new home. He walked the walk and talked the talk better than anyone we have ever known. We are so glad that he mentored Kenny as a young man, on softball field, as a man of God and just as a friend. We will miss his presence in our lives.

Pastor Broad was a wonderful man of God. He was such an inspiration to our family. Lifting up Angie, Van, Ray and Lynn and their families. He will be missed. We loved him so much.

My heart hurts for this dear family for this great loss. May you feel God arms of comfort about you. I have such great memories of this precious man of God. I can imagine the great Sunday service that was held in Gods magnificent church at Rev. Broads home going. I know many of our Neals Creek home goers were thrilled at the reunion. I love you all.
