Bonnie Crumley N. CHARLESTON - Mrs. Bonnie K. Crumley, 95, widow of the late Worlie J. Crumley, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023. Born in Newport, TN on July 27, 1927, Bonnie was the daughter of the late O.L. and Eula Clevenger. Bonnie attended a business school in Eastern TN, where she was a member of the sorority. She had a very active lifestyle and said she married a sailor to see the world. Bonnie was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Bonnie was an active member of Deer Park Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC. She loved the Lord and was a witness to all. She always took care of those she loved and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Bonnie's hobby was fishing and traveling with her church family, who went to the Holy Land and many other places around Europe. She and her husband took three of their grandsons cross country and to Mexico. Surviving are daughters, Donna Richter of Summerville, SC and Shron Tisdale (Thermon) of Greeleyville, SC; grandchildren, Michael Justice, Jr. of Greeleyville, SC, Barry Justice (Joyce) Greeleyville, SC and John Richter (Kerri) of Atlanta, GA; step-grandchildren, Brice Tisdale (Christie) of Greeleyville, SC and Jim Tisdale of Kingstree, SC; great-grandchildren, Haleigh Justice, McKenzie Justice; step-great-grandchildren, Jack Richmond and Jason and Jack Tisdale; brother, Drew Clevenger of Newport, TN; sisters, Aileen Wineinger (Earl) of Indianapolis, IN, Brenda Holt of Indianapolis, IN and Lynda Carol Hefner (Steve) of Newport, TN and a number of nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by brothers, Fred and Chan Clevenger and sisters, Eunice, Edith and Dorothy. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 2:00 PM until 3:00PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222. Bonnie's graveside service will follow immediately at 3:00PM at Carolina Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MUSC Children's Hospital.
