Bobby Wilson Obituary

Sadly I just learned today about Brother Bobby Wilson's death. He was a friend, Masonic Brother, and fellow deacon at Ashley Missionary Baptist Church. Had I known he was ill, I certainly would have contacted him, and would have attended his funeral. I am hurt over his death and just as much for not knowing about it. May God bless and comfort his family. I shall see Brother Wilson again and we will talk and laugh just like we always did when I came down from Virginia. Peace I leave with you.

My deepest condolences to the Wilson family. I have known and worked with Bobby for many, many years at the VA and in the community. He was always compassionate and caring and touched so many lives. He will be missed but always remembered.

I met Bobby 3 years ago when I joined the 4N team. I learned so much from him about dealing with patients. His experience and insight taught me so much. Mostly I observed and admired him for all the time he put into caring for those in need - here and at the VA hospital. My prayers are with his family. He will be missed very much.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. All of you will be in my families prayers. I met Bobby through his brother who helped my father with the care of our elderly relatives. When my father was no longer able to get around Bobby would visit. This meant a lot to my parents. Your family will be in our prayers.

I was very saddened to learn of Bobbys' passing. He was a very caring person. I am certain he is with our heavenly father. He was a person that cared for others. He was a great influence in my life. I worked with Bobby at both MUSC and the VAMC. His kindness and compassion live on and will continue to heal. It has been an honour and pleasure to have known,worked and have Bobby as my friend for the past 12 years. I am going to miss seeing him walk down the hall in those blue scrubs with his Clemson hat on. First thing I always saw was his smiling face. He was a kind, gentle man who loved helping people. I am a Chestnut High School 1966 classmate of Bobby. Bobby always kept in close contact with his class members. He was a truly a nice guy. He was always ready to help you in any way possible. He will be missed by all of us. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife Scthneta and his family.

I am lucky to have had Bobby as a dear friend and coworker at MUSC. He was the most gentle, kind-hearted person on this earth, with a sense of humor and fun-loving spirit to match none. We miss him terribly.

I worked with Bobby for many years at the Medical University. He was truly loved and respected by his coworkers, and absolutely irreplaceable. Always kind and thoughtful, he was an incredible resource and of immeasurable benefit to anyone who crossed his path, staff and patients alike. We miss him so much, and are so sorry for the loss his family is feeling now. I am terribly sorry to learn of Bobby's untimely passing. He touched many people's lives and will always be remembered for his kind words and wonderful way with people.

I had the pleasure of working with Bobby for years and I left and came back and we were able to work together again these last two years. He was a great nurse and had a wealth of information and was eager to share with anyone willing to learn. He was also a great cook and would share his lunch. He will be missed by many. My prayers are with the family.

I am truly honored to have been able to have called Bobby my friend. He was an angel on earth and now he has joined the angels in heaven.

Ms. Wilson I'm sorry for your loss. I never met your husband, but you knew me from the Clinic at the Air Force Base. I used to work in the Records Room. May God give you strenth and comfort to get over this difficult and sad time.
