Bobby Brooks Obituary

Bobby O. Brooks GOOSE CREEK - Bobby O. Brooks, 92, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Daphne Jane Bullard Brooks, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 21, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to time of service. Bobby was born April 22, 1931, in Henderson, Texas, son of the late Claude A. Brooks and the late Carrie Belle Rowell Brooks. He served in the United States Navy and was active member of the Charleston Calvary Church of Nazarene for 59 years, served as a Board Member and Sunday School Teacher for many years and he was also a member of the Gideon's. Bobby was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry, golfing and working on model barns, as he was very artistic. In addition to his wife, Daphne of 68 years, he is survived by; two children, Gregory Brooks of Columbia, SC, and Pamela Brooks Blalock (Terry) of Irmo, SC; two grandchildren, Bradley Christian Wallace (Nichole) of Taylor, SC, and Brooks Wallace of Cleveland, SC; two great-grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Wallace and Addison Mae Wallace both of Taylors, SC; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Clifford Brooks and Laverne Burks.
