Billy Bratcher Obituary

BRATCHER, Billy ANDREWS - Billy Daniel Bratcher, 61, died Thursday, October 11, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Bratcher was born in Hemingway on May 3, 1946, a son of Daniel Alexander Bratcher and the late Ruby Mae Ward Bratcher. He was a graduate of Andrews High School, where he loved playing football. Mr. Bratcher worked for Georgetown Textile Manufacturing Co. for a time and was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Mr. Bratcher was predeceased by: a brother, Charles W. Bratcher. Surviving are: his father and step-mother, Lula E. Bratcher of Andrews; five brothers, David (Mary) Bratcher and Wayne (Klata) Bratcher, all of Georgetown, George (Kay) Bratcher of Moncks Corner, and Gene Bratcher and Charles Daniel (Wanda) Bratcher, all of Andrews; and two sisters, Sylvia (Grady) Gaines and Sara (Michael) Thacker, all of Andrews. Funeral services will be two o'clock, Saturday afternoon, October, 13, 2007, at Sts. Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church in the Lamberttown Community of Georgetown Co. Officiating will be the Rev. Chris Browder. Burial will follow in Holmes Cemetery. Sign a guestbook at www.mayerfuneralhome.com. The family will receive friends Friday evening, October, 12, 2007, from five until eight at Sts. Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Community Hospice, 2591 N. Fraser St., Georgetown, SC 29440.
