MINCEY, Bill Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon April 15, 2008, Bill Mincey, husband of Rhonda Jo Anderson Mincey. Residence, James Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. Bill Mincey are invited to attend their funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday morning, April 19, 2008, at eleven o'clock. Burial will be private. Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel this Friday afternoon, between five and seven o'clock. Mr. Mincey was born on December 4, 1930 in Loris, SC, the son of Fletcher Marion Mincey and Mary Norris Mincey. He was a truck driver for Standard Freight Company and Star Freight. In his younger years he was a farmer. He is survived by his son, Bill F. Mincey and his wife Mary of St. Louis, MO; his daughter, Pamela Jo Mincey Postell and her husband Winston Ray, Jr. of James Island, SC; two brothers, Donny Mincey of Loris, SC and F. M. Mincey of North Charleston, SC; three sisters, Carlene Sarvis of Loris, SC, Rosie Barnhill of Loris, SC and Eula Mae Livingston of Loris, SC; and one granddaughter, Karson Claire Mincey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to James Island Baptist Church, 2023 Wappoo Drive, James Island, SC 29412.
