Beverley Richardson Obituary

Beverley Richardson Summerville - Beverley Ann Crosby Richardson of Summerville, SC died 11 Oct. 2015 at Trident hospital. Beverley was born 17 Aug. 1938 in Gretna, LA to Elmore and Althia Crosby (deceased). She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Ares. Beverley is survived by her husband Bob Richardson, daughters and their spouses: Marlene Ann & Tommy Akins, Engele Jo Ann and Clay Cockcroft, Cosette AnnMarie and Stanley Wright, Shawn Ann and Donald Meade. Siblings: Audry Arnone (Deceased), Althia Graham, Diane Montalbano, Deborah Spencer, Linda Laine, and Elmore Crosby. Grandchildren: Joshua, Meaghan, Jacob, and Rebekah Cockcroft, Randy & spouse Shy Akins, Tommy & spouse Brittany Akins, Candy & spouse Dwayne Smith, Colby and Charlie Meade, Ethan, Juliet and Eden Wright. Great-grandchildren: Dillon, Lacey, Georgia, Owen, Landon, Gage, Wade, Austin, Madison, Brandon, and Rylee. Nieces: Elaine Major, Elizebeth Szabo, Stephanie Hollingsworth, Erica Ledit, Sharon Barbier, Cynthia and Jennifer Graham. Nephews: T.J. Laine, Anthony Arnone. Mother-in-law: Reda Jo Richardson, sister-in-law: Betsy Yaratch, brother-in-law: Shawnee Richardson. Beverley was a homemaker, cake decorator, artist, gourmet cook, and retired Dorchester County District 2 school bus driver. She attended St. John the Beloved Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. John the Beloved in Summerville at 11 AM with a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. The rite of committal will take place at Summerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
