Betty Woodward Obituary

WOODWARD, Betty SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - Betty Ann Lambert Woodward, 71, widow of Dr. Arthur Stuart Woodward, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. Born in Clarendon County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Lambert, Sr., and the late Pamie Ridgill Lambert. Mrs. Woodward was a retired realtor with Prudential Carolina Realty and was a graduate of the McLeod Infirmary School of Nursing. She attended Sea Coast Community Church in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Surviving are three sons, Mark Woodward of Greenville, Larry Woodward and wife Nancy Lee of Sumter, Bryan Woodward and wife Tracie of Summerville; two daughters, Lorinda Richter and husband Terry of Greenwood, Cheryl Brunslik and husband John of Petaluma, California; a brother, Daniel Lambert, Jr., and wife Jeanette of Manning; a sister, Joyce Shorter of Sumter; nine grandchildren, Kyle Richter of Greenwood, SC, Paige Richter of Greenwood, Morgan Brunslik, Kristin Brunslik both of Petaluma, California, Kayla Woodward, Brandon Woodward both of Summerville, Roland Woodward, Tucker Woodward and Liza Woodward all of Sumter. Mrs. Woodward was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Nevelle Lambert. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, at Old Fort Baptist Church in Summerville, S.C., with the Rev. Dr. Eric Lethco and Kyle Richter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of her son, Bryan Woodward, 201 Travelers Rest Blvd., Summerville, S.C.
