Betty Timmons Obituary

TIMMONS, Betty Betty Rose Bowman Timmons, 79, of Bonneau, SC, died Sunday morning at her residence. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 25, 2007, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM this Monday evening. Mrs. Timmons was born April 6, 1928, in St. George, SC, a daughter of Stanley Bowman and Nadine Hart Bowman. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and a former employee of the American Cigar Factory and the Jamestown Woolen Mill. Mrs. Timmons is the widow of Daniel Lee Timmons, Sr., and was preceded in death by a son, Danny Timmons, and a daughter, Betty Mae Wyndham. Surviving are, two sons, Charles E. Timmons and Mendel L. Timmons both of Bonneau; a sister, Ruth Taylor of Summerville; a brother, Donald Bowman of Taylorsville, NC; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
