SMITH, Betty Betty Rose Smith, 81, widow of Walter D. Smith, of Summerville, SC, formerly of Apollo, PA, died Monday, August 29, 2005, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel, Apollo, PA, Saturday, September 3, 2005, at 12 noon. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, PA. Friends may call at Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, PA, this Saturday afternoon from 9 o'clock to 12 noon. Betty was everyone's grandma in our neigborhood. When Betty baked or cooked a special dish, she shared it with neighborhood friends. She was a wonderful woman and will be miss every morning, day and night.
