Betty Rhoad Moncks Corner - Betty Sue "Betsy" Rhoad, 70, of Moncks Corner , SC, died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born on February 26, 1948 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Julia Morris Cribb and Luther Cribb. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 45 years, Glenn Rhoad. She is survived by three daughters: Jennifer (Mike) Desmond, Crystal (Mel) Stokes and Stacey Platt; three grandchildren: Matthew, Mason and Thomas; and two great-grandchildren, Aspen and Charleston. Betty retired after 38 years of service as a Right of Way Agent with SCDOT. She was the devoted matriarch of her family and hosted all the holiday and family gatherings. She enjoyed baking, reading biographies, and being outside in her yard. She was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church. Her beautiful life of service to family, church and friends will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith, Goose Creek. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at McAlister-Smith, Goose Creek.
