Betty Troutman Pendarvis ST. GEORGE, SC - Betty Troutman Pendarvis, widow of Lewis Henry Pendarvis, of 181 Dusty Road, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 26, 2015 in the Life Care Center, North Charleston. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Indian Field United Methodist Church with Rev. Preston Grimsley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday evening at Bryant Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Marty Troutman, Roy Finley, Billy Canaday, Roger Brownlee, Jerry Troutman, and Don Felkel. Betty was born December 18, 1932 in Elloree, a daughter of the late Shellie Jacob and Neelie Jane Cherry Troutman. She was a retired seamstress at Carolina Girls Wear and a member of Indian Field United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her siblings, Laurie O. Troutman and Hiram Troutman. Surviving is a son, Chevis Lewis (Janet) Pendarvis, St. George; a daughter, Linda P. (John) Wade, Holly Hill; grandchildren, Crystal Pendarvis (Deborah Kinard), Harleyville, Paige Pendarvis (Chad) Crane, St. George and Tonya Pendarvis Kizer (Greg Lewis), Summerville, Evan Wade, Holly Hill; great-grandchildren, Kelly Marie Kizer and Paisley Marie Crane; a brother, Eleby (Rosa Mae) Troutman, Elloree; sisters, Shirley (J.P.) Jackson, St. George, Sarah Shipley, Sumter and Margie (Harry) Roberts, Orangeburg; sisters-in-law, Barbara Troutman, St. George, Mattie Troutman, Elloree, Margie P. Canaday, St. George, Sarah Pendarvis, Pageland, Louise Pendarvis, Gaston; and brother-in-law, Clayborn (Sue) Pendarvis, St. George.
