I remember Betty Mae as the kindest, loveliest, and wisest of our family's mothers of our generation. She perfectly matched Uncle Gus; they made a brilliant, loving couple. She was always Betty Mae to me, and I'm not sure why she wasn't my Aunt Betty. She was at peace in her life. She passed that quality on to her children.

Dear Pearlman Family,
I am so sorry about the passing of your wonderful mother. She was always lovely, inside and out, and the only joy is in having had her for these years and now she´s with your dad. I miss them both. Of all of our friends´ parents, I always thought your parents were most like ours. How very blessed you have been and I´m sure they were both so proud of all of you. May their memory be a blessing
