Phil and I loved Betty Brown and Tug. She played our kind of music as a DJ. Most important was her kind disposition and big smile. She was loved by everyone. Prayers go out to her family and I know they have many great memories of her as I do.

"The day the music died". Nobody played jump blues like Downtown Betty Brown ! NOBODY ! OMG
How will we go on. She was so many dancers and Beach Music Lovers VERY FAVORITE DJ. It is so hard to wrap my head around this ! I could walk in any room and tell if Betty was in the DJ Booth. She certainly brought her down home soul music to JB Pivots many a night. God knows we will miss her. I know Tug is waiting with open arms He was so in love with her ! I know she missed him terribly ! We shall see you again my friend !

Betty will be missed so much...She was a fantastic Entertainer/DJ and always had packed crowds when she played..She was a Hall Of Fame DJ and a legend on Ocean Drive...She was a great friend and I loved her like a sister...She was a beautiful lady and always treated everyone with kindness...She and her "music" will always be remembered on Ocean Drive..

Frankie and family, we are heartbroken. Betty was a lovely, special friend. The only happiness we have at this time is in knowing she is reunited with Tug and other loved ones. Heaven certainly welcomes a new angel. Treasuring our memories and sending prayers for those who loved her. God bless, Ned & Anna
