My sympathies to the entire family. I worked at Sandpiper when Willie Cooper Sojourner was living there. Bosie was so kind. Great memories!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Willie Cooper was a friend of my mother and aunt: Eloise Lanier Taylor and Susie Lanier Dodson and we were connected through our Aunt Marion Rigsby who married the Lanier girls' uncle Johnny Thweatt. We saw each other during our college years with my first husband Jim Baxter and Momma and I attended Fletcher and Bosie's wedding. I was just telling someone about the beautiful reception on JD's lawn last Saturday. I believe at one time the Carters lived near my first cousin Joan Sams Hodgkiss and King.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Carter Family. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Carter. They say our children tell the Story of Us, Beau & Cooper your mom must have been proud of the story you're telling on her behalf.

Mr.Fletcher, Beau, JD, Cooper and Families ...I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Miss Bosie was always such a joy to be around and I know you will miss her dearly. .Another "Steel Magnolia" gone too soon. Sending love to you all. Becky Leitch

I met Bosie at the Senior Center a few years ago and always enjoyed chatting with her. A lovely Lady indeed. My heartfelt condolences to her Family.

I am beyond sad to have learned this news, Bosie and Fletcher were my first friends when i moved to MP....took me to church, water aerobics , she loved her family.....always had her lipstick on and was so good to me and my mother....wrote beautiful notes and letters and called to see how we were doing....we were very blessed to know her and Fletcher.....she will be remembered by me every day of my life.

May the God of tender mercy grant you peace during this difficult time.

What a beautiful person and wonderful life Ms. Bosie lived. She loved her grandchildren and family more than anything. She was a true Southern lady. She will be missed by many. Heaven just got another angel . The Carter family was so blessed to have such a super Mom and Grandmother.
