Betty Bazzle Obituary

Betty Sue Bazzle SUMMERVILLE - Betty Sue Bazzle, 82, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully in her sleep and entered Heavenly rest on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Her devoted husband of 26 years, William Harold Bazzle Jr. was by her side. She was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, on June 7th, 1940, the daughter of the late Luther Edwards and Clara Dowell Edwards. A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 25th, 2023, at Faith Baptist Church, 139 Faith Lane, Summerville SC 29483. Visitation is from 2:00pm to 3:00pm with Service and Burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Betty Sue was a member of Faith Baptist Church, was a huge supporter of mission work for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, loved crafts and especially loved making cards for friends and family. The time and devotion she put into "Loveables" by Betty Sue demonstrated the love she freely gave to others and her desire to lift those up in need. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Harold. Together, they spent their best years ministering, traveling, loving people, and loving one another. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a friend to everyone she met and will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched, her huge personality, and her laugh that filled every room. Betty Sue was preceded in death by her father, Luther Edwards; mother, Clara Dowell Edwards; and sons-in-law, William Harold Bazzle III and Stuart Bazzle. She is survived by her husband, William Harold Bazzle Jr.; her daughter, Debbie McLean (Pete); sons-in-law, Lee Bazzle (Melissia), Brian Bazzle (Tricia), and Tim Bazzle (Andie); daughters-in-law, Laurie Bazzle (Brian Ashe) and Kama Bazzle; and 20 grand and great-grandchildren.
