Betty May Jantzen Addison Charleston - Betty May Jantzen Addison, 95, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 15, 2022. Her funeral service will be held graveside Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel. Betty May was born June 16, 1927, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William D. M. Jantzen and Mamie Stemmermann Jantzen. She was retired from Roper Hospital as Director of Payroll. Betty May is survived by her three sons: William Preston Addison, Ronald Albert Addison both of Charleston, SC, Jerald Dean Addison (Aleta) of Bluefield, WV; three grandchildren, Maria Collier (Kyle), James Addison and Joseph Addison; two nieces: Linda Jantzen of Charleston, SC, and Debby Touchberry (Tim) of Summerville, SC. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Alan Addison; and brother, Richard W. Jantzen, Sr. Memorials may be made to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
