Betty Ackerman Obituary

ACKERMAN, Betty Betty Jean Ackerman, 57, of Moncks Corner, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her mother, Betty H. Freeman of Moncks Corner, SC; father, Robert E. Ackerman of Summerville, SC. Also included are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ms. Ackerman was born July 21, 1947 in Charleston, SC. She was Baptist in faith and worked for the Hope Center in West Ashley, SC. She loved to travel, and touched many lives with her loving ways. A special thank you, by the family, to the hospital that helped her in the past few weeks. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
