Beth Lennon Obituary

Beth Jane Lennon CHARLESTON - Beth Lennon, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born on October 10, 1929 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Tully) Lennon. The family moved to Detroit when she was young, and she attended the public schools and college in Detroit. She first worked for the Detroit Free Press and later as a legal secretary for General Motors. When she retired, she and her sister, Joan, relocated to Charleston, their favorite city. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Joan Lennon and her cousin Stephen Romaine. She is survived by Stephen's wife, Nellie (Uccello) Romaine of Wethersfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Charleston, SC. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston, SC. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com. Arrangements by J.
